Before applying for a student visa, you must be accepted by a Turkish university and receive your Letter of Acceptance.
Prepare Required Documents For the Visa Application
- Valid Passport: Must be valid for at least six months exceeding your stay.
- Visa Application Form: Available from the Turkish Consulate or Embassy.
- Acceptance Letter: From your Turkish university.
- Photographs: 2 to 3 recent passport-sized pictures.
- Proof of Financial Support: Bank statements or a financial guarantee letter.
- Health Insurance: Proof that covers your stay in Turkey.
- Visa Fee: Required payment.
- Accommodation Proof: Documentation of where you’ll stay.

- Visa processing generally takes 2 to 4 weeks
Note: apply at least 2 to 3 months before your program starts.

Once approved, you’ll get your student visa, which permits entry into Turkey.
Arriving in Turkey
- After arrival, you must:
- Register with Local Authorities: within 30 days.
Apply for a Residence Permit: within the same timeframe to live and study legally.
Visa Fee: Typically varies from PKR 10,000 to PKR 20,000; check for updates from the consulate.
Work While Studying: Students can work part-time with a work permit.
Visa Duration: Usually valid for up to 1 year; a residence permit is required afterward.
